You will oversee tenders, pricing, contract reviews and risk assessments, and guide negotiations with clients and suppliers. The role emphasizes profitability, cash flow, forecasting, and governance, with oversight of final accounts and project close-out, driving efficiency and team development within the QS

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall quantity surveying and commercial function across projects or business units.
• Establish commercial strategies for tendering, procurement, contract administration, and cost management.
• Oversee major tenders, pricing strategies, contract reviews, and commercial risk assessments.
• Provide direction on complex variations, claims, disputes, and contractual negotiations.
• Monitor overall project profitability, cash flow, financial exposure, and commercial performance.
• Establish effective systems for cost control, forecasting, reporting, and contract governance.
• Lead high-level negotiations with key clients, consultants, contractors, and strategic suppliers.
• Oversee final accounts, commercial settlements, recoveries, and project close-out.
• Drive improvements in commercial processes, cost efficiency, and financial performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop the QS team while providing commercial advice to senior management.
