Job summary

HUAKEONG INDUSTRIES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage claims, certifications, and variation orders with contractors and suppliers. Candidates must have a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Building, and a minimum of 1 year of experience in the local building industry.

Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin are required. The position demands a proactive team player who can work well under pressure and with minimal supervision.

• Preparation and following up on progress claims and certification.
• Maintain records and submission of all variation orders.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Preparation and following up on progress claims, progress certification, variation orders and settlement of final account with main contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers
• Maintain records, tracking and submission of all variation orders
• Able to work closely with whole tender team and carry out management’s direction
• Attend meetings/ site meetings
• Work closely with teammates
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Candidate must possess Diploma/ Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Building
• Minimum 1 years of working experience in local Building industry
• Good communication skills in English and Mandarin (to liaise with mandarin speaking associate)

Salary will be commensurate with qualification and experience
