Job summary

Visi Intergroup Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support project costing, contract administration, procurement, claims and cost control.

The role involves preparing progress claims, assisting on EOT submissions, taking off quantities, budgeting, and liaising with consultants. Ideal candidate has diploma or degree in QS or related field and at least 1 year experience, with proficiency in QS software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• At least Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveyor/ Civil Engineering & Construction Management Works
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Basic understanding of construction costing, contracts and procurement processes
• Familiar with QS tools/software and Microsoft office applications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit progress claims for main contracts and subcontract works
• Support project team on contract administration, variation orders and extension of time (EOT submissions)
• Carry out quantity taking off for structural, architectural and External works and prepared detailed cost breakdowns based on drawings, specifications and requirements
• Assist in procurement. Source quotation and prepare comparison evaluation
• Liaise with consultants and seek clarifications on contract scope and variation works
• Prepare Project Budget for close monitoring with accounts and project team
• Track material quantity against project budget cost
• Verify claims from subcontractors and suppliers
• Settlement of final account with client, subcontractors and vendors
• Attend Project Site meetings
