Job summary

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage pre- and post-contract administration, tendering, and cost control for diverse projects.

The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying with at least five years of related experience, strong interpretation of drawings, meticulous problem-solving, and effective teamwork to meet tight deadlines. You will liaise with project teams, prepare tender documents, and monitor budgets.

Qualifications

• Minimum Second Upper Class Honours Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 5 years of related working experience.
• Well versed in interpretation of drawings.
• Meticulous in work with analytical skill in problem-solving.
• A good team player with ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Possess high level of initiative, strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pre-contract estimates and post-contract administration for projects.
• Conduct tender exercises for sub-contracting including evaluation and award of contract.
• Liaise with Project team and Purchasing team on cost control and budget monitoring.
• Manage claims, variation orders, and final account settlements for main and sub-contracts.
• Coordinate and render support to the project team as required.

• Taking-off quantities for tendering and projects.
• Documents preparation for sourcing of quotations.
• Responsible for pre-tender estimate and preparation of tender documents.
• Conducting tender exercises for sub-contracting including evaluation and award of contract.
• Liaison with Project team, purchasing team and other department as required.
• Responsible for claims, variation orders, budget, quantity monitoring and cost control and settlement of final account for main contract and sub-contract.
• Co-ordination and render support to the project team.
• Any other duties that may be assigned.

Requirements
