Job summary

STAFFKING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to assist in cost estimation, tendering, and evaluation.

You will obtain quotations, negotiate with subcontractors, and prepare tender and contract documents. The role covers quantity measurements for progress claims, variations, final accounts, and payments, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely QS outcomes. There is potential for performance-based bonus, with a 5-day workweek and islandwide site coverage.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cost estimation, tender preparation and evaluation, including cost comparisons and pricing summaries.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, and assist in negotiations.
• Prepare and administer tender and contract documents.
• Perform accurate quantity measurements for progress claims, variation orders, subcontractor/supplier payments and final accounts.
• Evaluate and certify progress work done and handle contract administration for variations.
• Prepare variation orders, claims, final accounts and payment settlements.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams to ensure timely completion of QS matters.
• Perform other QS-related duties as assigned.
