Job summary

TIONG SENG CONTRACTORS (PRIVATE) LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, tender submissions, contract administration and project claims.

You will collaborate with consultants, quantity surveyors, architects, developers and contractors to certify payments, monitor variations and settlements, and support timely project delivery while maintaining cost control.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with a contractor.
• Experience exceeding 2 years may be considered for Senior Quantity Surveyor roles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit detailed tender documentation to support successful project bids.
• Manage progress claims and payments, including valuation of variations and final account settlements to ensure accurate financial tracking.
• Collaborate with consultants, quantity surveyors, architects, developers and contractors to certify claims for payments and resolve contract issues.
• Administer contracts by monitoring compliance and facilitating communication between stakeholders to mitigate risks and support project delivery.
• Apply analytical skills to review project costs and identify opportunities for cost control and optimization.
• Work proactively and independently to meet tight deadlines while contributing as a collaborative team member.
