Job summary

ELETEX ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor in Singapore to manage project costs, prepare quotations, and evaluate subcontractor claims. You will support contract administration and cost control across multiple construction projects.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience, strong costing knowledge, and proficiency in reading drawings and MS Office. Independent work style and good negotiation skills are important.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant working experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and costing.
• Proficient reading of construction drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions.
• Take off quantities from drawings and specifications.
• Prepare monitor project budgets and cost control reports.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and claims.
• Prepare progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Assist in contract administration and project documentation.
• Monitor project progress and ensure costs stay within budget.
• Prepare monthly costing reports for ongoing projects.
• Source and compare material and subcontractor prices.
• Keep track of materials and inventory.
• Monitor material usage and ordering.
• Document design changes and update project budgets.
• Support project and site teams on costing-related matters.
• Maintain proper records of project costs and documentation.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
