Job summary

Poh Sia Construction & Engineering is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage all QS and contract administration aspects within dynamic projects. You will review tender and contract documents, raise clarifications, and ensure accurate quantity take-offs within set timelines.

The role requires at least a Diploma or higher in Quantity Surveying and a minimum of three years' relevant experience, with strong analytical and negotiation skills suitable for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Diploma or higher in Quantity Surveying or related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills with a methodical work approach.
Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Good negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills; strong team player.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of Quantity Surveying and Contract Administration.
Review tender and contract documents; identify discrepancies and raise queries for clarification.
Source and obtain quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
Evaluate and compare quotations to support procurement decisions.
Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and measurements within project timelines.
