Job summary

QUEK HOCK SENG CONSTRUCTION (PTE) LTD is seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with 2+ years of experience. The role involves precise quantity take-offs, analysing subcontractor claims, and managing pricing and contract administration to support project cost control.

You will work independently with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proactive teamwork to meet tight deadlines and contribute to project success.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• 2 years of working experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail, analytical thinking, proactivity, teamwork, and meeting tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-offs to accurately measure materials and work scope for project cost control.
• Assess subcontractors' claims and prepare interim payment applications and variation orders to ensure accurate financial tracking.
• Competent in analysing quotations/prices/rates, build-up rates and perform pricing.
• Competent in performing contract administration including valuation of payments and variations claims in accordance to contract requirements.

• Competent in performing contract administration including but not limiting to valuation of payments and variations claims in accordance to contract requirements
• Execute additional duties assigned by management to support project and company objectives

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 2 years of working experience,preferably in the construction industry
• Ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail, analytical thinking, proactivity, teamwork, and meeting tight deadlines
