Job summary

HIROSE (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. invites a Quantity Surveyor to take off material quantities from drawings and support costing, tendering, and contract management from pre‑to post‑award.

You will coordinate subcontractor quotes, prepare variation orders, and monitor project revenue and cash flow while liaising with English and Mandarin‑speaking stakeholders. Willingness to travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates welcome; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Taking off material quantities from drawings.
• Pre- and post-contract management including costing, quotation preparation, progress claim submission, variation orders and invoicing.
• Subcontractor management including quotation comparison and final account.
• Procurement and vendor sourcing, including resource planning and coordination.
• Assist in tender preparation, costing and budgeting.
• Project revenue and cash flow monitoring and estimation.
• Coordinate pre-construction approvals and document distribution.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job description

A) Job Description:

• Taking off material quantities from drawings.
• Pre and post contract management including costing, quotation preparation, progress claim submission, contractual and dispute management, variation order, invoice preparation and etc.
• Subcontractor management including quotation comparison, prepare subcontract contract documents, assess sub-contractor claim, variation order and final account.
• Procurement and Vendor sourcing including resource planning, order preparation, coordination and arrangement.
• Assist in incoming sales enquiries including tender preparation, summarize tender documents, costing and budgeting.
• Project revenue and profit estimation include budget monitoring and cash flow projections.
• Coordinate project pre-construction authority approval including data collection, document preparation, submission and information distribution.
• Any ad hoc duties as assigned.

B) Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates and candidates without relevant working experience are welcome to apply. On-the-job training will be provided.
• Willing to travel to project sites as and when required.
• Able to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and colleagues as part of the job requirements.
• Meticulous, responsible, and committed to meeting project deadlines.
• Willing to learn, with a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.

Monday to Friday: 9am to 5.30pm
