Job description

Established since 1997, Microtac Systems Pte Ltd is a major supplier and installer for access floor systems in Singapore. We are a key solutions provider for the building industry, with our extensive range of products including access floor systems, floor coverings, static control systems as well as carpets and self-levelling compounds.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for quantity take-off and cost estimation for quotations and tender
• Prepare necessary documentation for quotation and tender submission
• Prepare Variation Orders, Monthly Progress Claims, Final Accounts and Settlement in a timely manner
• Monitoring and reporting of project budget and cost control
• Follow up with clients on payment certification and liaise with Account Department for tax invoices submission within required timeline
• Verify and certify claims from suppliers / contractors
• Prepare all necessary administrative documentation (pre-contract and post-contract) to both Main Contractors and Sub-Contractors

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Degree holder in Quantity Surveying, Building or Civil Engineering
• 2 years of relevant experience in tendering, estimating and measurement of quantities in building projects
• Knowledge of Singapore Institute of Architect (SIA) Conditions of Contract will be an added advantage
• Meticulous and good team player
