Job summary

STAR ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Cost Estimator to manage cost estimation and tender submissions for construction projects, ensuring accurate evaluation of subcontractors’ quotations and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.

You will collect and evaluate quotations, justify estimates, perform cost planning and measurement, prepare progress reports and claims, and support audit-ready records for project controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Collect and evaluate subcontractors’ quotations and variation orders to ensure accurate cost assessment.
• Justify estimates in subcontractors’ quotations and variation orders to support budget accuracy.
• Perform cost planning, estimation, and measurement to control project expenses effectively.
• Maintain detailed records of all cost submissions for audit and review purposes.
• Prepare progress reports and submit progress claims to clients to track project financial status.
• Conduct tender estimation and submission to secure project contracts competitively.
• Identify and resolve issues with consultants to maintain project progress and compliance.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation to support project management and reporting.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
