Job summary

DEXSION (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost planning, budgeting, and contract administration on multiple projects in Singapore. You will work with site teams, clients, and contractors to ensure accurate quantity takeoffs and timely financial reporting.

This role requires travel to sites, review of designs, updating budgets for changes, and providing value engineering recommendations to optimise cost, risk, and quality while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Examine and review construction plans to prepare quantity requirements.
• Collaborate with site managers, clients, contractors, and stakeholders to coordinate activities.
• Prepare and submit reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, and risk assessments to management.
• Provide recommendations on improvements and strategic solutions to managers and clients.
• Document design changes and update budgets to reflect modifications.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Travel to construction sites to oversee progress.
• Manage payments to workers, vendors, and subcontractors.

• Examine and review construction plans to accurately prepare quantity requirements for project execution
• Collaborate effectively with site managers, clients, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to coordinate project activities
• Gather, prepare, and submit detailed reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, and risk assessments to relevant management or personnel
• Provide actionable advice and recommendations to managers and clients on innovative improvements and strategic solutions
• Document design changes and update budgets promptly to reflect project modifications
• Build and maintain professional relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to support project goals
• Travel to various construction sites as required to oversee and support project progress
• Manage payments to workers, vendors, and subcontractors ensuring accuracy and timeliness
