Job summary

XRH CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage measurements and cost estimates across construction projects.

You will prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, and evaluate tenders from contractors with negotiation when needed. You will conduct quantity take-offs, review C&S/Archi/M&E drawings, and monitor costs and variations to ensure project objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Acquired with civil and architectural knowledges is preferable.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in Building project, or similar scale, complexity and nature of work will be advantages.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prepare measurements and cost estimates from initial calculations to final accounts.
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
• Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors and negotiate where appropriate.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimates for projects and tender submissions.

• Prepare contract documents in accordance with regulations.
• Prepare cost analysis and monitor overruns to achieve project objectives.
• Access payment and variation works to client and subcontractors to facilitate smooth workflow.
• Communicate with client, management, sub-contractors and track progression of both main and sub-contract.
• Monitor project progress and valuation of variations for interim payments and final account.
• Perform duties in accordance with company policies, processes, systems and procedures.
• Any other adhoc tasks assigned by superior.

Job Description:

• Prepare cost analysis and monitor project overruns to ensure the objectives of the project is achieved.
• Access payment and variation works to client and subcontractors to facilitate the smooth workflow process.
• Communicate with the client, management, sub-contractors and keeps track of the progression of both main contract and sub-contract.
• Monitor and keep track of project progress and are responsible for the measurement and valuation of variations in the work during the contract, for agreement of interim payments and the final account.
• Perform all duties in accordance with CCCC policies, processes, systems and procedures.
• Any other adhoc tasks assigned by superior.
