Tower Research Capital is a leading quantitative trading firm pursuing innovation with a 25+ year track record. This internship offers hands-on experience with low-latency trading infrastructure, Python tool development, and collaboration with on-site quantitative researchers to improve trading strategies.

Final-year students in CS, engineering, or math programs will work in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.

Qualificações

• Final-year bachelor’s or master’s student in computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, or a related field
• Availability for a 10-week internship
• Strong interest in quantitative finance and software development
• Solid foundation in Python programming, with exposure to NumPy, Pandas, or Polars
• Demonstrated curiosity, problem-solving ability, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a distributed team
• Exposure to C++ and/or scripting languages (e.g., Bash) is a plus
• Interest in learning about large-scale systems, workflow orchestration, and production-grade software engineering practices

Responsabilidades

• Iterating quickly with on-site quantitative researchers on research processes to improve the P&L of the desk’s quantitative trading strategies
• Developing Python tools used across the research process
• Designing full-stack workflows with quantitative researchers to help evaluate and improve on trading strategies
