Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or closely related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience in financial services or enterprise environment.
• Experience with relational databases and production queries in PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or ClickHouse.
• Experience with real-time market data; historical time-series data is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Rust; C++ is a plus.
• Experience with React, CSS, AWS, Redis, Kubernetes, Kafka, and low latency middleware is a plus.
• 5+ years in Agile SCRUM methodologies.
• 5+ years with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our in-house Equity Vol systematic trading platform and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with business users and platform developers to deliver software solutions.
• Design a robust process for scheduling and monitoring resources that integrates with proprietary apps.
• Partner with teams to define best practices for technology, integration, API development and releases.
• Balance feasibility, stability, scalability, and time-to-market in solutions.
• Work with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment.
• Collaborate to enhance a shared toolset across teams.
• Identify and automate manual processes.
