Job summary

HKDAG (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks a motivated student to support a live quantitative trading desk in Singapore.

From week one you will own defined daily checks and, by month three, run them independently and automate at least one process. You will gain hands-on exposure to inventory, reconciliation, and operational tooling, while collaborating with traders and engineers in an AI-enabled, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Penultimate or final-year student in finance, economics, engineering, CS, mathematics, or related field.
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail; you notice when a number ties out.
• Genuine interest in crypto market structure and quantitative trading.

Responsibilities

• Daily desk operations: run balance and inventory checks; flag breaks and upscale early.
• Reconciliation: compare exchange and on-chain balances with internal ledger; document differences.
• Venue and account admin: maintain exchange records, API keys, fee tiers, onboarding checklists.
• Reporting: prepare inputs for daily and weekly desk reports to management.
• Automation: turn at least one recurring manual check into a script or dashboard (Python/SQL).
• Adhoc: support traders and engineers on operational questions.
