Job description

The role is ideal for a hands-on quality leader who can work across Production, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and suppliers to improve product quality, manufacturing processes and customer satisfaction.

Quality Management & Manufacturing Quality
  • Lead and manage overall quality activities across manufacturing operations, ensuring products meet customer specifications, internal quality standards and applicable requirements.

  • Establish, implement and continuously improve quality systems, procedures, inspection standards and control plans across production.

  • Partner closely with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain teams to identify and resolve quality issues.

  • Monitor key quality indicators including FPY (First Pass Yield), defect rates, rework, scrap, customer complaints, DPPM and process performance.

  • Review quality trends and identify opportunities to improve product reliability, process capability and manufacturing consistency.

Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Action
  • Lead investigations into production defects, non-conformances, customer complaints and recurring quality issues.

  • Drive structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) and continuous improvement activities.

  • Apply problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone / Ishikawa, SPC and Pareto analysis where appropriate.

  • Review product specifications, manufacturing processes, inspection criteria and quality requirements before production release.

  • Work with Engineering and Production teams to identify potential quality risks during prototype, pilot, NPI and mass production stages.

  • Support supplier corrective actions and monitor supplier performance.

  • Review incoming material quality, non-conforming materials and supplier-related defects.
