Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a QMS Engineer to support the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of our Quality Management System. You will work closely with Top Management, Process Owners, and Department Managers to ensure quality, environmental, product safety, and compliance objectives are achieved.

You will lead audits for ISO 9001/ISO 14001 and Product Safety, maintain QMS documents, and drive corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Management System (QMS) activities, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge and practical experience in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Experience in Product Safety audits, preferably involving UL/TÜV requirements.
• Knowledge and experience in Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) requirements.
• Knowledge and experience in Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements.
• Experience working in electronics manufacturing is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in addressing compliance and quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support the organization strategies to ensure QMS alignment with goals and clear responsibilities.
• Monitor QMS performance, prepare reports, and update Management on compliance and improvements.
• Collaborate with Process Owners and Managers to achieve outputs and manage risks and opportunities.
• Ensure departmental compliance with QMS procedures and drive corrective actions focused on customer satisfaction.
• Develop, maintain, and control QMS documentation including charts, job descriptions, and work instructions.
• Plan and conduct ISO 9001/ISO 14001 internal and external audits, plus Product Safety audits (UL/TÜV).
• Follow up on audit findings and corrective actions for timely closure.
• Support Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) initiatives and compliance activities.
• Support CTPAT activities and maintain relevant compliance requirements.
• Promote continuous improvement and quality awareness across departments.

About the role

We are looking for a QMS Engineer to support the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of our Quality Management System. The successful candidate will work closely with Top Management, Process Owners, and Department Managers to ensure that quality, environmental, product safety, and compliance objectives are effectively achieved.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and support the organization strategies to ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) is aligned with the organization's strategic goals, promotes customer focus, and clearly defines responsibilities and authorities.

• Monitor QMS performance and effectiveness, prepare relevant reports, and provide updates to Management on system performance, compliance, and improvement opportunities.

• Work with Process Owners and Department Managers to ensure processes achieve their intended outputs and that relevant risks and opportunities are identified and effectively managed.

• Monitor departmental compliance with established QMS procedures and requirements, identify quality issues, and drive appropriate corrective and preventive actions with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

• Develop, maintain, and control organizational charts, job descriptions, procedures, work instructions, and other QMS documentation.

• Plan, organize, and conduct ISO 9001/ISO 14001 internal and external audits, as well as Product Safety audits, including requirements related to UL/TÜV.

• Follow up on audit findings, non-conformities, and corrective actions to ensure timely and effective closure.

• Support company-wide Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) initiatives and compliance activities.
