Job Description Summary

In this role you will lead projects in the Calibration and Metallurgy Laboratory and collaborate with the GEAESS Laboratories team on exciting initiatives.

Site Overview

GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS) is our largest MRO site, responsible for more than 60% of global repair volume.

Role Overview
  • Lead the initiation and setup of a new dimensional and torque calibration laboratory at a new engine overhaul facility at Seletar Aerospace Park.
  • Overall project management, ensuring adequate resources to keep the program on track.
  • Qualify and commission a 3D printing powder element composition analysis machine at the Loyang Compressor repair facility.
  • Coordinate a Kaizen event at the Metallurgy Lab with cross‑functional teams.
  • Follow up with various stakeholders for machine installation, qualification, creation of standard work, and training of operators.

Interns must be able to commit to a 20‑24 week internship at a minimum to ensure sufficient time and opportunity to learn from their projects.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has basic engineering knowledge, is eager to learn, and is proactive in task and project management.

Required Qualifications
  • Degree in engineering and strong foundation in university mathematics and physics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of GD&T and engineering drawing, experience with CMMs, and knowledge of material science.
