Job Summary

Lead projects for the Calibration and Metallurgy Laboratory at GEAESS, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to establish new facilities, qualify advanced equipment, and implement process improvements.

Responsibilities

1. Initiate and set up a new dimensional and torque Calibration Lab at a new engine overhaul facility at Seletar Aerospace Park.
2. Ensure overall project management, acquiring adequate resources to keep the program on track.
3. Qualify and commission a 3D printing powder element composition analysis machine at the Loyang Compressor repair facility.
4. Coordinate a Kaizen event at the Metallurgy Lab with a cross‑functional team, including stakeholder follow‑ups for machine installation, qualification, standard work creation, and operator training.
5. Interns must commit to a minimum of 20‑24 weeks to complete the internship projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering with strong university mathematics and physics background.
• Basic knowledge of engineering and an eager-to-learn attitude.
• Proactive in task and project management.
• Preferred: Understanding of GD&T and engineering drawing, experience with CMM, and knowledge of material science.
