Job summary

RecruitPedia Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a quality and engineering support professional to assist in day-to-day activities across products, processes, and operations. You will investigate issues, support customer feedback, and help implement corrective actions to improve quality and efficiency.

The role requires a technical diploma or bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, or medical devices.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship, industrial attachment, or project experience may also be considered.
• Exposure to regulated manufacturing, medical devices, or Quality Management Systems will be advantageous but is not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day Quality and Engineering activities related to products, processes, and operations.
• Assist in investigating and resolving product, process, manufacturing, and customer-related issues.
• Support customer feedback and complaint activities, including information gathering, investigation coordination, documentation, and follow-up.
• Assist in identifying root causes of problems and implementing appropriate corrective and improvement actions.
• Support the preparation, review, and maintenance of technical and quality documentation.
• Assist in maintaining procedures, work instructions, forms, records, and other controlled documents.
• Support product and process verification, testing, inspection, and evaluation activities as required.
• Assist in reviewing manufacturing, inspection, testing, servicing, and other relevant records.
• Participate in product, process, and quality improvement projects.
• Collect, organise, and analyse data to support problem-solving, decision-making, and continuous improvement.
• Support risk assessment and failure analysis activities when required.
• Assist with non-conformance investigation, corrective actions, and follow-up activities.
• Support Quality Management System activities and compliance with applicable requirements, including ISO 13485 where relevant.
• Participate in internal, customer, supplier, or external audits when required.
• Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Service, and other departments to resolve issues and complete assigned projects.
• Support the implementation of process improvements to enhance product quality, efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
• Escalate significant technical, quality, safety, or compliance concerns to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
• Complete assigned training and progressively develop competency in relevant technical, quality, and operational areas.
• Support other departments, functions, or projects according to business and operational requirements.
• Perform other engineering, quality, or operational duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.

Experience

• Preferably 1–3 years of relevant working experience in engineering, manufacturing, quality, medical devices, life sciences, or other technical industries.

Skills

• Good analytical and problem-solving ability.

• Statistical Analysis (Hypothesis Testing, ANOVA, Gage R&R, DOE, etc.)

• Root cause analysis (Kepner-Tregoe, 5-Why, 6M, etc.)

• Problem-solving techniques (e.g. DMAIC/8D/PDCA/A3 application in continuous improvement)

• Competent with general PC and Office software applications.

• Risk Analysis (PFMEA)

• Strong attention to detail.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Able to understand and prepare technical documentation.
