Job summary

Merquri in Singapore is seeking a QA Engineer to review requirements, design tests and drive quality across web and mobile applications. You will create robust test plans, write clear test cases and help shape testing strategies in an Agile environment.

As part of the QA team, you will develop automation scripts, execute tests, track defects and collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure smooth SIT/UAT cycles and timely releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of software testing experience (Web/Mobile).
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience writing clear, concise test plans and test cases.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum.
• Fresh graduates/internships welcome.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications and design docs to provide feedback.
• Create detailed, structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Coordinate with development and project teams for SIT/UAT.
• Stay up-to-date with testing tools and strategies.
• Track QA metrics such as defect density and open defects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
