Job summary

WeLead Solutions Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a lead Quality Engineer to oversee and enhance quality systems across manufacturing and product development. You will drive continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and compliance to meet specifications and standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering and at least 5 years in Quality, Product Design, or Manufacturing environments. You will guide teams, perform audits, and implement robust quality plans to ensure product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality, Product Design Engineering, or Manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve total quality systems to ensure products meet specifications
• Guide team members in applying Quality Engineering tools to improve product quality
• Conduct quality system and process audits to verify compliance and effectiveness
• Provide technical support in engineering design and drawing reviews to mitigate risks and ensure product reliability, usability, and performance
• Establish and lead manufacturing quality metrics to achieve continuous improvement goals
• Develop and implement product quality plans aligned with PFMEA and DFMEA methodologies
• Lead Quality System Audits and support external IATF 16949 audits to maintain compliance with standards
• Manage Material Review Board activities for raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products
• Coordinate disposition of nonconforming materials to ensure proper resolution
• Drive root cause analysis for customer anomalies and production issues to prevent recurrence and verify corrective actions
• Manage change processes with suppliers and manufacturing teams, ensuring customer communication and approval
• Identify and implement opportunities to meet department cost and quality objectives
• Apply lessons learned to manufacturing and new product development projects for continuous improvement
• Execute special projects to standardize functions and improve processes in primary work areas
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations set by EHS and government authorities
