BANSHING INDUSTRIAL CO (PTE) LTD. in Singapore seeks a Quality Control Engineer to lead QC activities on NPI handovers and mass production lines. You will conduct visual inspections, perform measurements, document deviations, and drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
The role involves data analysis, maintaining QC records, supporting audits and CAPA, and training production staff on QC procedures to sustain product quality.
The Quality Control Engineer shall be the leader or accountable for the following Quality Control activities on “NPI handed over / Mass Production lines “.
Quality Inspection: Effective Sampling on visual inspections and testing on products at various stages of the mass production process to ensure they meet customer quality specifications and standards.
Testing and Measurement: Utilize testing equipment and measurement tools to assess product dimensions, aesthetics, and functional characteristics.
Defect Identification: Identify and document defects, deviations, and non-conformities in products. Collaborate with relevant functional teams to implement corrective actions to reduce scrap.
Process Improvement : Monitor production processes to ensure consistent quality and work with production engineer / operations / tooling engineer etc as needed to maintain and improve product standards.
Data Analysis: Analyze quality data to generate reports, charts, and graphs that provide insights into process performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspection results, quality control procedures, and relevant documentation.
Customer CAPA / Internal +External Audits : Collaborate with production teams, quality assurance, and engineering to address quality issues and ensure timely resolution and support on all such occasions.
Training and Development: Train production teams on quality control procedures and provide guidance on maintaining product quality.
Requirements:
Diploma in Mechanical engineering or equivalent
Minimum 2 years experiences in engineering or quality assurance field
Basic understanding in ISO 9001, ISO 13485 etc. system management
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Able to interpret drawings and technical documents
Ability to interpret within established procedures and practices as well as exercise independent judgment in complex situations
