Job summary

KAVESSAA CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Packaging Materials Engineer to work with suppliers to design or select suitable carriers for IC products and to review packing material designs and propose improvements.

The role requires a Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Materials Engineering with SEMICON industry experience and the ability to read engineering drawings. Normal office hours and on-site work at Serangoon North.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Materials Engineering with SEMICON experience.
• Experience with packing materials is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Work with packing material suppliers to design or select suitable carrier for IC products.
• Review packing materials designs and propose changes if required
• Draft, maintain and update supplier and customer-facing documents related to packing and media
• Resolve non-conformance issues with supplied materials and follow up with suppliers for completion of corrective actions
• Support on boarding activities of new suppliers for packing and labeling
• Support managing 3rd party supplier (for reinspection and re-packing of IC products)

• Review packing materials designs and propose changes if required
• Draft, maintain and update supplier and customer-facing documents related to packing and media
• Resolve non-conformance issues with supplied materials and follow up with suppliers for completion of corrective actions
• Support on boarding activities of new suppliers for packing and labelling
• Support managing 3rd party supplier (for reinspection and re-packing of IC products)

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical/ Materials Science Engineering with experience in SEMICON industry, Assembly and Test, Packing Material is preferred.
• Knowledge in AUTOCAD or any drawing apps, and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Working hours: Normal office hours
• Location: Serangoon North
