Job summary

HOYA Electronics Singapore is seeking a Quality Control Technician to support our QC operations, working closely with engineers to perform equipment checks, setup, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance. The role requires hands-on involvement in tests, inspections, and reports within a cleanroom setting.

You will manage incoming inspections, machine setups, and participate in trend analysis while supporting overall quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in Engineering or related field, or 1–2 years of semiconductor experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a proactive attitude.
• Proficient in MS Excel and basic data handling for reports.
• Willing to work in a cleanroom environment and long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily checks and routine maintenance on quality control equipment; set up machine recipes when required.
• Assist engineers with troubleshooting and support measurement requests.
• Conduct incoming material inspections, process system releases, and regular cleanroom air particle counts.
• Manage QC spare parts inventory and prepare reports and trend analyses.
