Job summary

rmr international private limited in Singapore is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the company's Quality Management System. The role focuses on establishing robust QC processes, inspection plans, and acceptance criteria to ensure compliance across all projects.

You will coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, review QA records, issue NCRs, and drive corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering, quality management, or construction management.
• Min 5 years of quality control/assurance experience.
• Experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, or M&E projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and related Singapore regulations.
• Experience in preparing ITPs, method statements, audits, and NCRs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
• Establish quality control procedures, inspection plans, checklists, and acceptance criteria.

• Ensure measuring and testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
• Prepare quality reports and maintain accurate records for audit and project handover.
• Provide quality-related training and guidance to employees and subcontractors.
• Promote continuous improvement and a strong quality culture across the organisation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant quality control or quality assurance experience.
• Experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, or M&E projects is preferred.
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.
• Familiar with relevant Singapore regulations, industry codes, technical standards, and authority requirements.
• Experience in preparing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, checklists, audit reports, and NCRs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Able to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality-management documentation.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities.
