Job summary

Becton Dickinson Medical (S) Pte. Ltd. invites a QA Technical Specialist (Technical Leader) to drive quality initiatives at our Tuas Plant in Singapore. You will lead technical quality projects, guide complex investigations, and ensure compliance across the quality management system.

We seek someone who mentors teams, champions CAPA, and partners with Manufacturing and other functions to continuously improve processes, data integrity, and products for global healthcare applications.

Qualifications

• Diploma in mechanical, biomedical or materials engineering or any engineering field.
• 1–2 years of experience; fresh entrants welcome.
• Familiar with GDP and GMP documentation and practices.
• Proficient with Excel, Minitab or Power BI for data analysis.
• Understanding testing equipment concepts and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior QA team members, fostering technical excellence.
• Drive investigations for non-conformances and customer complaints; implement CAPA.
• Develop, review and approve quality documentation (SOPs, specs, protocols).
• Participate in internal and external audits for regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing to ensure compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the quality system.

Job Summary

The QA Technical Specialist (Technical Leader) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and compliance of Becton Dickinson Medical (S) Pte. Ltd.'s products and processes. This position involves leading technical quality initiatives, providing expert guidance on complex quality issues, and driving continuous improvement within the quality management system.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior QA team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Drive investigations for non-conformances, and customer complaints, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Develop, review, and approve quality documentation, including SOPs, specifications, validation protocols, and technical reports.
• Participate in and lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing to ensure compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance within the quality system.

Education and Experience

Preferably Diploma in mechanical, biomedical, material engineering or any Engineering field with minimum 1-2 years, fresh entry are welcomed.

Knowledge and Skills

1. Basic statistical techniques (sampling, trends, SPC)

2. Able to perform data analysis and trending

2. Good Knowledge on Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)

3. knowledge/familiar with Microsoft, Minitab, Powerbi or etc tools

4. Able to understand/familiar with concepts of testing equipment (instrons, pressure gauge testing, etc)

Working Hours: 7am- 4pm
