Job summary

BD is seeking a QA Technical Specialist (Technical Leader) at its Tuas Plant in Singapore. The role focuses on ensuring quality and compliance of products and processes, leading technical quality initiatives, and guiding complex quality issues within the quality management system.

You will mentor junior QA staff, drive CAPA investigations, develop and approve SOPs and validation protocols, and participate in audits.

• Develop, review, and approve quality documentation, including SOPs, specifications, validation protocols, and technical reports.
• Participate in and lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing to ensure compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance within the quality system.

Job Summary

The QA Technical Specialist (Technical Leader) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and compliance of Becton Dickinson Medical (S) Pte. Ltd.’s products and processes. This position involves leading technical quality initiatives, providing expert guidance on complex quality issues, and driving continuous improvement within the quality management system.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior QA team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

• Drive investigations for non-conformances, and customer complaints, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Develop, review, and approve quality documentation, including SOPs, specifications, validation protocols, and technical reports.

• Participate in and lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing to ensure compliance.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance within the quality system.

Working Hours: 7am- 4pm
