Job summary

Our Client in Singapore is seeking a Senior QA & Food Safety Lead to head the company’s quality assurance programmes and ensure compliance with international standards. You will manage food safety systems, drive audits, and coordinate corrective actions across the organisation.

You will lead the QA team, oversee regulatory and customer audits, and ensure traceability and supplier quality requirements are met. This role is based at our Woodlands office with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in QA/Food Safety within food manufacturing, processing, distribution or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP and GMP standards.
• Hands-on MSC/ASC certifications management and Chain of Custody experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA and Food Safety programmes and ensure regulatory and customer compliance.
• Manage food safety systems including FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, MSC and ASC.
• Drive audits and ensure timely closure of findings and corrective actions.
• Oversee investigations, customer complaints, non-conformities and CAPA initiatives.
• Ensure SFA compliance, licensing, traceability and supplier quality requirements.
• Manage MSC/ASC Chain of Custody documentation, audits and certification maintenance.
• Oversee facility operations, safety, hygiene, utilities, vendors and improvement projects.
• Lead and develop the QA team while managing budgets and vendor performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the company's Quality Assurance and Food Safety programmes, ensuring compliance with regulatory, customer, and industry standards
• Manage and maintain food safety systems, including FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, MSC, and ASC certification requirements
• Drive internal, external, customer, certification, and regulatory audits, ensuring timely closure of audit findings and corrective actions
• Oversee food safety investigations, customer complaints, non-conformities, and CAPA initiatives to support continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with SFA requirements, licensing regulations, product traceability standards, and supplier quality requirements
• Manage MSC/ASC Chain of Custody programmes, including documentation, audit preparation, certification maintenance, and stakeholder coordination
• Oversee facility operations, maintenance, workplace safety, hygiene standards, utilities, outsourced vendors, and facility improvement projects
• Lead and develop the QA team while managing departmental budgets, vendor performance, and sustainability initiatives

Requirements:

• Min. Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering, or related discipline
• Min. 5 years of QA/Food Safety experience within food manufacturing, food processing, distribution, or logistics environments
• Strong knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, and GMP standards required
• Hands-on experience managing MSC/ASC certifications, Chain of Custody requirements, traceability controls and certification audits required
