Job summary

Avanta Global Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a quality leader to own the quality management system, keep accreditations valid, and set the organizational quality strategy. You will maintain SAC, ISO 29993, CQI-IRCA, bizSAFE Level 3 and SSG TPQA certificates while coordinating audit activities across bodies.

You will lead internal and external audits, drive continuous improvement, and mentor QA teams, ensuring audit readiness and strong cross-department collaboration with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Science or Business Administration.
• 3 to 10 years of experience in QA, quality engineering or industry operations.
• Strong command of ISO 9001 or industry-specific regulations.
• Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis, 8D, DMAIC and 5 Whys.
• Experience planning, conducting and managing internal, external and supplier audits.
• Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools such as Excel, Minitab or Tableau.
• Experience guiding, training and mentoring QA teams; clear communication with senior leadership.
• Advantageous certifications: CQE, CQA, Six Sigma belts or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.

Responsibilities

• Lead external audits and TÜV NORD corporate audits and close findings.

• Establish document control, records and in-house quality documents.
• Review courseware after ISO updates, technical notes and trainer feedback.
• Prepare applications for new accreditations with Business Development.

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will own the company's quality management system and keep every accreditation and certification valid and audit-ready. You will set the organisational quality strategy and structure the quality management system.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the SAC, ISO 29993, CQI-IRCA, bizSAFE Level 3 and SSG TPQA accreditations and certifications
• Run the annual audit calendar across all accreditation bodies, certification bodies and regulators
• Lead external audits and TÜV NORD corporate audits and close findings with the relevant departments
• Verify audit man-days and assign external auditors for the SAC-accredited auditing service
• Plan and run internal audits, lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Establish document control, records and in-house quality compliance documents
