Job summary

AvantaGlobal Pte Ltd in Singapore is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager to build and lead a new QA department. You will own the quality management system, ensure SAC, ISO 29993, CQI-IRCA, BizSAFE Level 3 and SSG TPQA accreditations remain valid and audit-ready, and report to the COO.

You will run external and internal audits, manage audit calendars, verify audit man-days, drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions, maintain document control, and prepare applications for new accreditations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 3–10 years experience in QA or quality operations.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 or industry regulations.
• Proficient in Root Cause Analysis, 8D, DMAIC and 5 Whys.
• Experience conducting internal, external and supplier audits.
• Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools.

Avanta Global is an SAC-accredited auditing and certification company in Singapore and a TÜVNORD GROUP company. We serve clients in construction, marine, oil and gas,semi-conductor and metalworking.

The role

We are setting up a Quality Assurance department, and you will build it. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will own the company’s quality management system and keep every accreditation and certification valid and audit-ready.

What you will do

• Set the organisational quality strategy and structure the quality management system.
• Maintain the SAC, ISO 29993, CQI-IRCA, BizSAFE Level 3 and SSG TPQA accreditations and certifications.
• Run the annual audit calendar across all accreditation bodies, certification bodies and regulators.
• Lead external audits and TÜV NORD corporate audits. Close findings with the relevant departments.
• Verify audit man-days and assign external auditors for the SAC-accredited auditing service.
• Plan and run internal audits. Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Establish document control, records and in-house quality compliance documents.
• Review courseware after ISO updates, Technical Notes and trainer feedback.
• Prepare applications for new accreditations with Business Development.

What you bring

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Science or Business Administration.
• 3 to 10 years of experience in QA, quality engineering or industry operations.
• Strong command of ISO 9001 or industry-specific regulations.
• Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis, 8D, DMAIC and 5 Whys.
• Experience planning, conducting and managing internal, external and supplier audits.
• Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools such as Excel, Minitab or Tableau.
• Experience guiding, training and mentoring QA teams.
• Clear communication with senior leadership and across departments.

Advantageous:

Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Quality Auditor, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
