Job summary

JIH SUN EMPLOYMENT AGENCY in Singapore seeks a Quality Engineer to handle customer quality issues and lead continuous improvement across products and processes. You will coordinate with process teams, apply DOE/QC tools, and support audits to meet TS & ISO requirements.

Travel overseas is required (2-3 trips per month), and overtime may be needed. Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related field is expected, with semiconductor experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or equivalent.
• Semiconductor industry quality experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with DOE, JMP and QC tools (FMEA, SPC, 8D) is advantageous.
• Statistical mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer quality issues and drive continuous improvement across products and processes.
• Liaise with process department to follow up on corrective/preventive actions.

Job description

Working Hours: Mon-Fri: 8am - 530pm

Job Description: Responsible for handling customer quality issues and continuous improvement activities of the Company products and processes. Liaise with process department on quality related issues to follow-up on effective corrective/preventive actions. Required to carry out activities such as process optimization, benchmarking, etc through various statistical tools and software. Handle external body audit in accordance to TS & ISO requirement

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or equivalent.
• Relevant experience from the semiconductor industry in servicing customer in quality related issues is a plus.
• Knowledge of statistical software such as DOE & JMP and QC tools (FMEA, SPC and 8D format report writing) will be an added advantage.
• Statistically inclined with good analytical & problem solving skills;
• Self-motivated, resourceful, action-focused and result-oriented team player.
• Familiar with IATF16949 requirement is a plus.
• Willing to travel overseas
• Willing to work overtime when needed and travel overseas and on short notice ( on average 2-3 x per month)
