Quality Assurance Engineer – ISO QMS & Compliance

Job summary

NOV Singapore is seeking a QA professional to support facility's Repair business with Quality Assurance of product, process, and equipment, ensuring compliance with API/ISO QMS.

You will implement and maintain QMS processes, liaise with customers and regulators, drive QA initiatives, and contribute to audits and KPI tracking.

Requires at least 3 years' experience and a Diploma in engineering; strong English and ability to work overtime.

Qualifications

• Min 3 yrs working experience.
• Min Diploma in engineering or equivalent combination of education & experience in engineering field.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time in both controlled & uncontrolled climates.
• Ability to wear prescribed PPE i.e. hard hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses etc.
• Ability to work overtime when required to meet schedule/dateline.
• Experience working with ISO 9001/API-Q1 QMS standard.
• Good English written & communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain/ develop processes and procedures requirement for API/ ISO QMS
• Implement process for API/ ISO QMS
• Liaise with customers & regulator bodies for quality related questions
• Drive facility wide focus on QMS
• Drive QA initiatives to ensure compliances with our QMS and efficient operations
• Provide continual evaluation of department processes, methods & activities to assure effective use of resources and equipment
• Work with Quality & Operations team to ensure compliance with facility/ company’s use of current procedures & processes
• Ensure documentation/ technical literature is managed in accordance with all regulatory/ contractual requirements
• Maintain alignment with corporate Pressure Control Group & SOP directives
• Serve as the primary quality assurance resource to department head for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement. Report to management on quality issues, trends and losses.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Track and report quality department KPI/ Objectives.
• Manage calibration of IMTE
• Any other responsibilities as assigned by the Quality Manager
