Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific Singapore seeks a QC Technical Services Specialist II to support the efficient operation of laboratory systems and equipment. You will ensure validation, calibration and maintenance align with GxP and regulatory expectations to keep QC activities compliant and reliable.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive qualification activities, maintain documentation and contribute to continual process improvements within a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or related field.
• 1–2 years of industrial experience in pharma/medical devices.
• Knowledge of GMP regulations and applicable international guidelines.
• Basic knowledge of cGxP/regulatory expectations (ICH, PICS).
• Familiarity with LIMS and CDS and analytical equipment capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet critical timelines.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead qualification of new equipment and lab systems per regulatory expectations.
• Support implementation of laboratory systems.
• Prepare qualification protocols, reports, SOPs and investigations.
• Collaborate with lab personnel, IT and vendors to maintain lab facilities and equipment.
• Maintain calibration schedules and ensure compliance with regulatory expectations.
• Provide admin support for CDS, LIMS and laboratory equipment.
• Assist with lab investigations as SME and participate in process improvements.
• Coach colleagues on lab systems and equipment knowledge.
• Support site, customer and regulatory audits for GxP compliance.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure cGxP and regulatory compliance.
