GLAXO WELLCOME MANUFACTURING PTE LTD invites graduates and mid-career professionals to join the Attach and Train Programme (AnT), a 15-month structured on‑the‑job training to build a pipeline of skilled biopharmaceutical professionals in Singapore. Trainees gain hands-on experience, industry-relevant skills, and mentorship within a world‑leading biopharmaceutical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisor/Manager in managing laboratory activities to ensure timely, accurate results.
• Support quality control operations to meet regulatory standards.
• Support continuous improvement activities (GPS, 5S, standard work, DMAIC).
• Identify and report QC problems; implement corrective actions.
• Assist Micro and services team management.
• Perform routine testing and results review/approval.

The Attach and Train Programme (AnT) is a structured talent development programme designed to build a pipeline of skilled professionals forSingapore’s advanced biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry, supporting both current and future workforce needs. As a trainee, you will go through a15-month structured on-the-job trainingprogrammewith GSK, gaining hands-on experience, industry-relevant skills, and mentorship from experienced professionals in a world-leading biopharmaceutical environment.

What will you do?

• Assists the Supervisor/ Manager in managing the biological laboratory activities to assure timely availability and accuracy of results.
• Provides support and technical expertise to ensure that manufactured products meet applicable regulatory standards and guidelines with respect to Quality control operations.
• Supports activities related to GPS (e.g. tiers, Gemba, DMAIC, 5S, standard work etc) for continuous improvement.
• Identifies and reports problems in QC. Solve problems and implement corrective actions.
• Assists the Supervisor/ Manager in managing the Micro and services team
• Perform routine testing and results review/approval

What will you learn?

• Equip with GDP, GLP and GMP knowledge
• Learn general laboratory operation
• Hands on training on microbial/biological testing
• Exposure to investigation writing
• Train to identify critical information for test results approval
• Experience working in clean room
