QC INSPECTOR / QC ENGINEER

- $4500*

+ AWS + Variable Bonus

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and customer/regulatory standards but not limited to ISO9001.

2. Oversee quality inspections and controls and lead the QC team to meet quality requirements.

3. Use data analysis to drive quality improvements.

4. Coordinate with internal teams and external parties (e.g., customers, auditors, suppliers).

5. Manage customer issues and provide corrective and preventive actions.

6. Conduct training and certification for QC and production staff on quality standards

Roles Responsibilities:

1. Ensure procedures meet company global, industry, and customer standards.

2. Manage document control and maintain quality documentation.

3. Create and update QC SOPs and Work Instructions.

4. Ensure compliance with company standards and specifications.

5. Support and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).

6. Prepare reports and support internal/external audits and reviews.

7. Plan manpower allocation and overtime for the QC team.

8. Train staff on inspection standards for raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.

9. Monitor and improve nonconformance issues across sites.

10. Report quality issues clearly to production/engineering teams.

11. Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality metrics.

12. Support continuous improvement activities (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).

13. Report quality performance to management.

14. Perform root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

15. Ensure quality inspectors are trained and certified.

16. Ensure inspection/testing equipment is calibrated and maintained.

17. Adhere to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

18. Lead and guide inspectors and technicians.

19. Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager.

Education & Experience:

1) Diploma in a technical field or Bachelor’s degree

2) At least 2 years of quality supervisory experience in any industry; experience in crating and packaging is preferred.

3) Knowledge of ISO9001:2015, ISO14000 and ISO45001

4) Certified Quality Engineer will have added advantage

5) Knowledge of PFMEA, Problem Solving (Fishbone, 5-why), statistics and Control Plan

Work Information:

· Location: Kranji

· Working Hours: 7.45am to 5.30pm
