Job summary

Asv Engineering Pte. Ltd. seeks a Site Quality professional to manage construction site quality requirements and ensure activities comply with QP acceptance and approved drawings.

You will inspect structural steel alignment, level, plumb, welds, coatings, grouting, bolt tightening, and fire-proofing; assist the Project Manager on erection works; develop quality plans and checklists, and ensure safety and NEA/WSH compliance while maintaining QA/QC records.

Responsibilities

• Manage Construction Site Quality requirements and ensure all activities are completed to QP’s acceptance.
• Check structural steel alignment, level, plumb and correctness; ensure welding, coating, grouting, bolt tightening and fire-proofing meet approved standards.
• Assist Project Manager on structural erection works according to approved drawings, resolve site quality issues, and ensure timely completion.
• Carry out regular site inspections and ensure compliance on quality requirements and that works follow approved drawings.
• Understand local requirements for erection of steel structures; develop project quality plan and inspection checklists.
• Interpret structural steel drawings with good understanding of structural connection details.
• Support the site team to ensure proper site documentation such as QA/QC reports, shop drawings, as-built submissions, etc.
• Ensure that all Site Safety, WSH and NEA requirements are strictly adhered to.

• Support the site team to ensure proper site documentation such as QA/QC reports, shop drawings, as built submissions, etc. are well managed.
• Ensure that all Site Safety, WSH and NEA requirements are strictly adhered to.
