Job description

Specialising in Design & Building of utility systems, prefabrication/ DFMA works, facility & plant maintenance and construction implementation such as structural steel, piping, storage tanks & silos as well as the equipment installation, we take pride and passion in all that we do.

The QAQC Lead will be responsible for the below:

  • Lead and Manage a team of QAQC Engineers/Assistants
  • Responsible for performing quality assessments on standard and routine processes and products according to engineering drawings, specifications, methods and instructions.
  • Review and update internal QMS.
  • Implement the QA/QC management system at site
  • Coordinate with the client’s representative on all quality matters.
  • Participate in the quality internal and external audits.
  • Review and update ITP as per project specification.
  • Assign QA/QC inspector to dedicated project and monitor the inspector performance.
  • Coordinate with the site construction manager on all quality issues.
  • Root cause analysis on quality related issue and propose the preventive measure action.
  • Report any non-conformance (NC) and issue corrective action request (CAR) where necessary.
  • Liaise with NDT Company to support project team.
  • Audit and manage sub-contractor quality matter.
  • Ensure all quality control documentation is compiled handover for final project documentation.

To be successful, you will need the below:

  • Min. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Possess Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
  • Min. 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in QA/QC of mechanical systems for Semi-con, Pharma & Oil & Gas.
  • Deep knowledge of Standards such as ASME / API / AWS / NACE & DSEN.
  • Able to work independently and as a team with good prioritization skills.
  • Good time management.
  • Good communication skills.
