Nordic Flow Control Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer to ensure project drawings and specifications meet client GP requirements. You will manage QA/QC documentation, perform testing and commissioning of electrical systems, and troubleshoot instrument networks.

About the role
This role involves reading technical drawings and design specifications to ensure construction meets Client GP requirements. You will be responsible for QA/QC documentation for the complete project, including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports, and site instructions. The position requires testing and commissioning of electrical systems, troubleshooting of electrical and instrument systems, and preparation of loop folders and job packs.
Key responsibilities
Read technical drawings and design specifications and ensure construction meets Client GP requirements
Manage QA/QC documents of the complete project, including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports, and site instruction/observations
Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems including MCC, Transformers, UPS, and Lighting
Troubleshoot electrical and instrument systems
Prepare loop folders and job packs
Perform pre-calibration and calibration of instruments including transmitters, control valves, and relief valves
Commission, calibrate, and maintain field and panel instruments for pressure, temperature, flow, and level measurements
Prepare data sheets for electrical and instrument systems
Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications
Monitor and ensure purchasing material specifications meet client requirements
About you
Diploma or Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or maritime related fields
Three or more years of relevant full-time experience
Prior experience in Maritime, Oil & Gas industries, and shipyards highly advantageous
Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
Working knowledge of BS/IEC/ISO/API/ATEX/EEMUA Codes and Standards relating to Electrical and Instrumentation work
Knowledge of safety legislation and regulations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential
Responsible, meticulous, and able to work under pressure
