The ideal candidate should have a Higher Nitec or Diploma in any Engineering field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in QA or QC within the precision engineering industry. Proficiency in Nikon VMR Smart Scope Programming, OGP Smart Scope Programming, and CMM Programming is essential. The role includes inspections and communicating results to improve processes. A salary package of up to $2,700 is offered, along with AWS, VB, and Group Profit Sharing.

As a QA Technician, you’ll be an integral part of our quality assurance process, ensuring our products meet the standards of excellence.

Job Description

• Perform Failure Analysis (FA) and New Product Introduction (NPI) inspection.
• Perform in-process, in-coming, subcon parts and out-going (Form Fit Function) inspections.
• Review and compile in-process inspection results.
• Communicate with the Machinist on the inspection results and recommend improvements.
• Reverse Engineering.

Requirements

• Minimum Higher Nitec/ Diploma in any Engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in QA or QC of precision engineering industry. Candidates without prior experience but who hold a relevant technical diploma or coursework may also be considered.
• Proficiency in Nikon VMR Smart Scope Programming/ OGP Smart Scope Programming/ CMM Programming.
• Good interpreting of mechanical drawings.
• Able to use measuring instruments like caliper, micrometer and profile projector.
• Basic knowledge on Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
