Job summary

NPI SOLUTIONS (SINGAPORE) (PTE.) LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Quality Inspector to support final inspection verification and ensure product quality across incoming, in-process, and outgoing checks.

You will read drawings, operate inspection equipment, and maintain quality records, while mentoring new hires and aiding in corrective actions. The role emphasizes timely inspections and adherence to standard procedures in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Working knowledge of inspection techniques, tools, and equipment used in inspecting and testing cable, harness, and electro‑mechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Execute Incoming Quality Check, Quality In-Process, and Outgoing Quality Check tasks to ensure product quality compliance
• Report job status and inspection findings clearly to Team Leads and Management for informed decision-making
• Support final verification processes before job approval and receipt to maintain quality standards
• Guide colleagues and mentor new hires to enhance team competency and knowledge sharing
• Assist in creating checklists for FA projects and sustaining projects to standardize inspection procedures
• Support preparation and issuance of Defective Material Reports (DMR) and Corrective Action Reports (CAR) to address quality issues
• Communicate Quality Alerts promptly to relevant teams to prevent recurrence of defects
• Perform complete FA dimensional checks to verify product specifications and tolerances
• Assist with supplier site source inspections, audits, and documentation to ensure supplier compliance
• Apply mechanical aptitude and hands‑on skills to perform inspection and minor repair tasks accurately
• Deliver quality work within deadlines while ensuring associates follow in‑line quality protocols
• Perform minor touch‑up and repair work as assigned to maintain product standards
• Learn and apply skills in reading drawings, inspection techniques, quality methodologies, and use of inspection apparatus and testing equipment
• Use appropriate forms such as Incoming/Outgoing Checklists, Parts Replacement Forms, and Torque Check Forms to document inspection activities
• Comply with company policies and procedures to maintain operational consistency
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment to support workplace safety and efficiency
