Job summary

Rotary Engineering Private Limited is seeking a QA/QC Superintendent to oversee quality levels across multidisciplinary field works including civil, tankage, piping, equipment, steel structures, electrical and instrumentation on our projects in Singapore.

You will supervise QC Inspectors and Engineers, develop Project Quality Plans, review procedures to client specs, and ensure materials and welds meet rigorous standards through inspection, testing and reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–7 years in inspection and quality control in oil & gas.
• Experience in civil works.
• Experience in foundation works (piling and concreting).
• Experience in Tankage, Structure, Mechanical, Piping works.
• Experience in inspection, QC, testing and commissioning of construction for power, oil and chemical plants.

Responsibilities

• Supervise QC Inspectors/Supervisors/Engineers on site.
• Develop Project Quality Plan.
• Review Quality Procedures per client specs and standards.
• Prepare Inspection and Test Plan.
• Review QC Reports.
• Interpret construction and technical drawings.
• Communicate engineering/technical/quality requirements to team.
• Verify that incoming materials meet the requirement.
• Verify quality welds and materials meet specifications.
• Inspect vendor shop facilities and worksites.
• Liaise with subcontractors.
• Follow-up on corrective action of non-conforming products.
• Prepare inspection reports, non-conformance reports and other QC documentation.
• Implement and monitor proper storage, handling and usage of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise several QC Inspectors/Supervisors/Engineers at the project
• Develop Project Quality Plan
• Review Quality Procedures with respect to client specifications and standards
• Prepare Inspection and Test Plan
• Review QC Reports
• Interpret construction and technical drawings
• Communicate engineering/technical/quality requirement to team individual
• Verify that incoming materials meet the requirement
• Acts as an internal independent party for the verification of quality welds and ensure that incoming materials meet with specifications
• Inspection at vendors shop facilities and worksites
• Liaise with subcontractors
• Follow-up on corrective action of non-conforming products
• Prepare and compile inspection reports, non-conformance reports and other quality control
• Implement and monitor proper storage, handling and usage of equipment

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5-7 years in inspection and Quality Control for Oil and gas industry
• Experienced in civil work activities
• Experienced in foundation works (piling and concreting works)
• Experience in Tankage, Structure, Mechanical, Piping works
• Experience in Inspection, Quality Control, testing and commissioning works of Construction for Power, Oil and Chemical Plants
