Job summary

Rotary Engineering Private Limited seeks a QA/QC Manager to ensure the QMS is effectively implemented across projects. You will delegate to QA/QC Supervisors and collaborate with engineering, construction, fabrication and procurement teams.

The role ensures materials, in-process and finished products conform to technical specs, quality standards, and regulatory licenses. You will lead audits, inspections, and continual quality improvements in a demanding EPC setting in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 15 years LNG & Oil & Gas industry experience, incl. 3+ years in management.
• Welding Inspector certificate (CWI/AWS) or CSWIP 3.1.
• NACE Level 1 or equivalent certificates.
• Lead Auditor certificate or ISO 9001/14001/45001 auditing experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and QMS.
• Advance quality achievement and performance improvements across the org.
• Lead development and implementation of QMS for planning, fabrication, inspection, docs and operations.
• Plan duties and work schedules for QA/QC staff.
• Set service standards for internal and external customers.
• Liaise with QA team to plan project audits, site surveillance and audits.
• Develop procedures and standards for vendor assessment and inspection activities.
• Coordinate vendor assessment and inspection activities effectively.
• Consolidate vendor feedback and guide resolution of quality issues.
• Identify QA/QC personnel certification needs and training.
• Provide leadership and direction to all QA/QC staff.
• Own hold-point releases after QMS completion for next work stage.
• Manage construction program with reporting and recommendations follow-up.
• Oversee visual inspections and NDE, including 3rd party subs.
• Manage inspection, NDE, testing plans for new work, repairs, and alterations.
• Identify and fix inspection function deficiencies.
• Ensure QA/QC activities align with Rotary PM Process and site regs.
• Ensure process controls and verification arrangements per proposal/criticality.
• Verify construction inspection and testing activities.
• Coordinate with construction ops and engineering to develop schedules.
• Implement non-conformance, corrective and preventive actions.
