Job summary

Woh Hup Group in Singapore is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to implement and maintain site quality assurance and control systems in line with project standards. You will lead the QA/QC team, train site personnel in Structural and Architectural trades, and ensure daily assessments with actionable improvements.

The role requires at least 3 years in building or civil engineering, knowledge of BCA requirements, and ISO 9000 QA/QC exposure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or construction related field.
• At least 3 years of building and/or civil engineering experience.
• Experience in QA/QC and certified auditors advantageous.
• Completed at least 1 building project.
• Knowledge of BCA, industry norms and contract specifications.
• ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

Job description

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for implementing site quality assurance and quality control system, in compliance with the quality standards at site.

• Engage the project team to deliver high quality works;
• Lead the QA/QC team and train the site team on Structural and Architectural trades;

• Conduct Internal Quality Audits;

• Adhere to safety practices in the workplace.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Education: Degree in Civil Engineering or construction related field

• Knowledge of quality requirement of BCA, industry norms and contract specifications
