Job summary

ANDERCO PTE. LTD. seeks a leader to manage and oversee its fabrication operation, ensuring on-time project delivery, and accurate design drawings before fabrication. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, QAQC, Procurement, and Supply Chain to meet quality and delivery targets.

You will plan manpower efficiently, minimize wastage, and drive safety and EMS compliance across the site while coordinating with project operations for smooth handover and installation.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing fabrication projects with on-time delivery.
• Ability to ensure accurate design drawings before fabrication.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QAQC, Procurement and Supply Chain.
• Plan manpower and material resources efficiently.
• Implement risk management and safety/environmental requirements.

Job description

Managing and overseeing the fabrication operation

• 1. Ensure on time project delivery
• 2. Ensure all the design drawing is accurate
• 3. Work closely with Engineering and QAQC to meet quality.
• 4. Work closely with procurement dept. for on time delivery of material for fabrication
• 5. Ensure correct order of fabrication materials
• 6. Work closely with the supply chain management for the machineries and tools usage
• 7. Plan efficiently for the manpower usage
• 8. Minimize material wastage

Prepare risk management plan

• 1. Plan in advance for any emergency issue
• 2. Ensure on time delivery to customers/operation
• 3. Check and ensure the design drawing is accurate before fabrication to avoid re -work
• 4. Ensure sufficient manpower & material are available at all times

Administer Workplace Safety and health (WSH) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS)

• 1. Ensure workers/sub-contractor wear full PPE items and comply with the company safety/ Environmental regulation
• 2. Work closely with Safety dept. to ensure safety/ environmental compliance

Organise and transfer fabricated products to projects operation department for site installation

• 1. Ensure on time & quality delivery to clients/sites/operation
• 2. Liase with Supply Chain dept. to deliver the products to clients/site

Manage a team with good technical knowledge & innovation in fabrication design

• 1. Build and train a competent technical team
• 2. Set up a quality control process within the fabrication dept.
• 3. Work with Engineering Services Dept. to innovate fabrication design.
