QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGEMENT ASIA PTE LTD is seeking a QA Manager to lead a team of 9 CSA QA/QC engineers across Civil, Structural and Architectural works. You will plan inspection coverage aligned with the construction programme, coach engineers, and drive QA documentation and audits.

The role requires extensive experience in QA/QC on large projects, strong knowledge of Singapore codes, and the ability to interface with clients and authorities.

Formación

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Architecture, Building or a related discipline.
• At least 12 years in construction QA/QC or site supervision, including at least 5 years leading a QA/QC or site team.
• Hands-on experience across Civil, Structural and Architectural works on large projects (S$100 million or more).
• Strong knowledge of Singapore codes and authority requirements (BCA, PUB, SCDF), Eurocodes / SS EN standards and CONQUAS.
• Experience writing Project Quality Plans, ITPs and QA procedures, and running audits.
• Strong written and spoken English; able to present to clients and consultants.
• Singaporean / PR, or eligible for an Employment Pass
• Good to have: Semiconductor fab, cleanroom, data centre or other high-tech facility experience
• Good to have: Resident Technical Officer (RTO) or IES Certified Project Engineer
• Good to have: BCA Structure & Façade Inspector; SSSS Structural Steel Supervisor / Engineer
• Good to have: CONQUAS / QM Managers course; ISO 9001 internal auditor
• Good to have: Professional registration (PE, registered architect or equivalent)
• Good to have: Chinese and English, spoken and written

Responsabilidades

• Lead, assign and supervise 9 CSA QA/QC engineers across Civil, Structural and Architectural works.
• Plan inspection coverage against the construction programme, and adjust manpower as works progress.
• Coach junior engineers, review their inspection records, and run regular toolbox and QA briefings.
• Prepare and maintain the CSA Project Quality Plan, ITPs, inspection checklists and QA procedures.
• Review method statements, shop drawings and material submittals before approval.
• Set up and maintain the NCR, RFI and defects registers, and track close-out.
• Run internal quality audits and support client and authority audits.
• Make sure all hold and witness points are inspected and recorded before works proceed.
• Personally inspect critical items: foundations, major pours, steel erection, façade and cleanroom finishes.
• Resolve technical quality issues with the contractor, subcontractors and consultants.
• Act as the single point of contact with the main contractor for CSA quality.
• Attend progress and quality meetings, and present QA/QC status.
• Issue weekly and monthly QA/QC reports with KPIs: inspections done, NCRs open and closed, defects, test results.
• Lead defect and punch-list close-out before handover
• Compile final quality records, test certificates and as-built documents
• Support CONQUAS assessment and authority inspections (e.g. BCA, SCDF) where required
