Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to perform dimensional and visual inspections on explosive and incoming components at our Rifle Range Road site in Singapore. You will collect samples, operate QA measuring instruments, and maintain gauges and fixtures, while ensuring compliance with EHS and security requirements.

The role requires hands-on experience with gauges, interpretation of technical drawings, and adherence to QC procedures.

Qualifications

• Min NITEC in Engineering, Quality or related field preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Hands-on experience with gauges and precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of QC practices and inspection procedures.
• Strong teamwork and ability to follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections on explosive and incoming components using approved inspection tools and gauges.
• Collect and prepare samples for inspection and testing activities.
• Operate and support Quality Assurance (QA) measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
• Conduct cleaning, basic upkeep, and preventive maintenance of gauges, tools, and fixtures.
• Assist in packing ammunition components for return to plant or next process stage.
• Carry out labelling, packing, and palletising of parts, cartons, and pallets in accordance with procedures.
• Handle and shift parts and equipment using appropriate lifting equipment such as pallet jacks and trolleys.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, security requirements, and EHS regulations at all times.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and quality documentation.
