Job summary
A manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Quality Control Inspector responsible for conducting inspections and tests on raw materials and products. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently on a 12-hour shift schedule. This role requires a strong team player who can handle pressure and prioritize results.
Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Conduct incoming inspections and tests of raw materials.
- Perform routine in-process inspections and testing for carbon blocks.
- Verify and approve startup samples.
- Maintain records of inspection.
- Conduct outgoing testing and inspection for products.

Education
- Responsible for conducting Incoming Inspections and Tests of raw materials (including moisture analysis of compounds, dimensional analysis of parts prior release for production use.)
- Responsible for performing routine In-process inspections and testing for carbon blocks, filters and assembly.
- Responsible for verification/approval of startup samples (Filter and Assembly).
- Responsible for the keeping and maintenance of records of inspection.
- Responsible for conducting Outgoing Testing and Inspection (for blocks, filters and assembly.)
- Responsible for routine in-process audit based on daily audit checklist. Includes issuance of non-conformance issue if problem is found.
- Responsible for issuing CofC and test report to customer.
- Responsible for monitoring of daily rejects on reject bins and recording of verification results.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum “N” Level / SPM with 2 years of related experience.
- Able to perform 12 hours shift.
- A good team player and able to work independently.
- Good interpersonal skills, results oriented, able to handle pressure and a team player
- Self driven, trustworthy and able to perform under minimum supervision.
